Grant AwardedGreater Worcester Community FoundationJanuary 15, 2004 -- We are please to announce that the FNH have been awarded a grant from the GREATER WORCESTER COMMUNITY FOUNDATION to help fund the design of a management and restoration plan for the 41 acre Newton Hill section of Elm Park. This 10 year master plan will offer FNH and the City of Worcester Parks Department a strategic plan for revitalization and improvements. FNH has select Joshua Hopkins, Graduate Student of Landscape Architecture of UMASS Amherst to design the management and restoration plan. Mr. Hopkins' area of research is in Park Restoration.
